In Honor Of National Volunteer Blood Donor Month

Tour de Hero was created to help raise awareness for the Arizona community blood program. Riders are encouraged to recruit blood donors to give at a United Blood Services donor center or blood drive between Nov. 1 and Jan. 14. Ask your friends, family, co-workers or donate on your own behalf. In appreciation for referring blood donors, riders receive a discounted Tour de Hero registration fee and earn one ticket for great raffle prizes for each donor recruited. Simply download the Donor Referral Card to give to your blood donors.

8:30am Start: Advanced 62-mile/100K Ride
10:00am Start: Intermediate 31-mile/50K Ride
1:00 – 3:00pm: Complimentary Grand Finale Lunch for All Riders, Courtesy of Papa John’s

Meet blood recipients saved by blood donors!
Ride in the name of a participating Arizona blood recipient and wear a UBS photo bib pinned to your jersey in their honor during Tour de Hero.
