July 8 “Saving Arizona” Event Promises
Family Fun, Prizes at Tempe Center for the Arts
United Blood Services and CBS 5 are asking Valley residents to declare independence from blood shortages by donating at the Saving Arizona blood drive on July 8 at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Media outlets and organizations across the Valley have teamed up with United Blood Services and CBS 5 to host Arizona’s largest blood drive, making it easy to Find the Hero in You this summer. The first 500 donors will receive a voucher for two Arizona Diamondbacks tickets and a gift bag – nearly a $50 value! One lucky donor will be drawn as a top finalist to win a 2012 Beetle donated by your Valley Volkswagen dealers. All this and more to make sure that Arizona patients have the lifesaving blood transfusions they need during the Independence Day holiday week.
